Honey characteristic of Sicily. It has the basic properties of honey with the addition of all the characteristics of the thyme plant, the aromatic herb par excellence with beneficent powers for the body. The fact is that thyme honey has good balmy and expectorant properties that calm a cough and help recovery from typical winter illnesses. This honey also improves our immune system, and therefore stimulates recovery and strengthens the body, combating tiredness. ORGANOLEPTIC ASPECTS:
COLOUR: Dark, brown, amber
SCENT: Aromatic, because of the thymol in it. Strong, spicy, reminding one of aromatic wood, Vin Brulé and cloves
FLAVOUR: Characteristic, intense, aromatic and persistent in the mouth, with a slight balmy aftertaste
CONSISTENCY: It very slowly crystallizes into a very compact consistency
CONSERVATION: Room temperature sheltered from the sun
SIZES: 500g – 250g – 50g
EXPIRY DATE: Two years from the date of production
